  My family and I used to love this restaurant. The wings and Nachos were better than anywhere. Sadly, over the past year or so, it has gone from awesome to terrible. The wings are inconsistently cooked and the food in general is not what it was.
  
  We recently stopped in on a Sunday evening and waited for over 1/2 hour before anyone even took our drink order. It was not very busy with many tables open. The waitress told us she would be right with us and then walked by our table 4 times without even asking what drinks we wanted.
  
  We got up and left without any of the staff noticing or caring. I commented to another waitress who was very apologetic, but had a look and body language which indicate this is a typical thing.

  This place is a sad shell from what it was 10 years ago. Every time I've gone here over over the past few years the food was horrible. Multiple items on the menu horrible. Food served cold. Food served frozen. Food served over the course of an hour to a party of 5 every 10 minutes. I have vowed to never go here for food again.
  
  With all that said. They have good wings. They don't mess those up. And the small bar section is nice. The new outside patio dining is very nice too. Just don't order anything complicated.

  We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years and in the past 5 years it has gone form a 4-1/2 star to barely a 1 star. Our last meal there, the two pitchers of beer took a long time to come out, the wings which were to be an appetizer came out after the meal, the Ruben I ordered was cold and missing 1000 Island sauce, the sandwich was cold, the fries were cold, My father in law and I split our meals and the fish I got form him was over fried and tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in weeks. I will not be back here anytime soon!! Absolutely horrible meal and that was true for pretty much everyone in our party of five.

  WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We made reservations for this place for our anniversary and it was a huge mistake! The owners/managers should be very ashamed! This place had a reputation for being a nice restaurant to dine at but it is now a run down rat hole.
  The waitstaff's attitude about customer service was appalling! When we arrived with two hungry kids after a long ride on the bike trail, the waitress did not even acknowledge us!
  There might have been a hostess at one time as there was a hostess station but without even looking up from the point of sale computer we were told to "sit anywhere". I had called ahead twice to ask for a seat on the patio but the reservation did not matter. We waited for a table to open and no one came to us so we seated ourselves at one of the many dirty tables on the patio that we started to clear ourselves. The bus "boy", an old barfly, came and took the beer pictures and glasses (without saying anything to us and then he dropped everything on the floor) but he didn't wipe the filth on the table or remove the dirty ashtray or the previous diners receipts. A party who seated after us began to get service and still no one said anything to us! They wouldn't even look at us or say sorry for your wait, folks.... My son said he felt like we did something wrong. We waited there for 1/2 hour watching others be served before we decided to leave and my husband complained to one of the two waitresses who could have cared less.
  ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Advising others to STAY AWAY from the MAIN STREET CAFE IN ALEXANDRIA! IT IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE TOWN. Perhaps a blessing that we left because I now have read the food there is not much better than the service.
